Pamela Mulumby
Founder & Owner
Founder & Owner, LifePath of Mid-Missouri, LLC and United Abilities Network, LLC
Pamela Mulumby is a seasoned executive with more than 20 years of leadership experience in the human services sector, specializing in supporting individuals with severe behavioral challenges and medical fragility. She is the Founder and Owner of LifePath of Mid-Missouri, LLC, where she currently serves as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). She is also the Owner of United Abilities Network, LLC, and previously served as CEO of Mid-Missouri Supported Living, LLC (MMSL) from November 2022 through August 2025.
Throughout her career, Pamela has demonstrated a strong commitment to leadership development and mentorship, guiding numerous emerging professionals in the field. She brings extensive experience collaborating with funding agencies, medical providers, families, and guardians, and is known for a leadership style grounded in strategic vision, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to quality care.
Before becoming a Developmental Disability Provider, Pamela spent 18 years at Woodhaven, where she held multiple leadership positions. She supervised mid-level managers, nurses, Team Support Leaders, and Direct Support Professionals; chaired the Health and Safety Committee; and served on the Admissions Committee for nearly a decade. She also piloted Woodhaven’s Personal Assistance and Community Networking programs, successfully admitting and supporting 10 individuals within the first year.
Pamela’s professional expertise is deeply informed by her personal advocacy. As the mother of a daughter on the autism spectrum who exhibits challenging behaviors, she has worked closely with support teams to implement structured interventions that empower her daughter to lead a meaningful and fulfilling life. This lived experience fuels her broader advocacy for high-quality services and supports for individuals with complex needs.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Pamela is actively engaged in community service and charitable initiatives. She served as Vice President of the Advisory Board at Our Lady of Lourdes Interparish School from 2022 to 2024 and continued as a board member through 2025. She also serves as President of Sisters Keepers Mid-MO, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting African migrant women and their families.
Earlier in her career, Pamela spent 10 years at Great Circle, where she worked with at-risk youth in the Transitional Living Program, focusing on behavior management and safety. From 2009 to 2015, she founded and led East Africa in Focus, an international e-magazine that reached readers in more than 80 countries and featured contributions from a team of 25 editors and journalists. Pamela also worked as a business reporter for the Columbia Daily Tribune and as a features writer for Standard Newspaper in Kenya. In 1999, she became the first woman to receive the prestigious African Journalist of the Year award.
Pamela holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism. Her unique blend of executive leadership, operational expertise, entrepreneurial vision, and personal advocacy positions her as a transformative leader in the human services field.
